Ordering Procedures for ScienceNOW Online

INDIVIDUAL SUBSCRIPTIONS

AAAS members receive an online subscription to ScienceNOW free with their membership. Information on member benefits can be found on our website.

For a print subscription, or for an online subscription if you are not a member, send an order form and payment to:

Publisher name and address

Once we receive payment, if you ordered the print option you will begin receiving the print journal, and if you ordered one of the online options you will receive a letter with instructions for obtaining access to the online edition. The letter will direct you to an online form. You will be asked to provide the following informaiton necessary to activate your subscription to ScienceNOW Online:

• A user name and password that you can easily remember
• Your name, phone number, and email address
• Your customer number (included with the letter)

INSTITUTIONAL SUBSCRIPTIONS

Subscribing to ScienceNOW Online is a 2-step process:

First, you must follow your usual "new serial" ordering procedures to subscribe to ScienceNOW. Payment should be made to your subscription agent or directly to the publisher. The order form for direct payment is available here.

Second, once the publisher has received payment, you will receive a letter with instructions for obtaining access to the online edition. The letter will direct you to an online form. You will be asked to provide the following information necessary to activate your subscription to ScienceNOW Online:

• Contact name, title, phone, fax, and email
• Customer number (included with the letter)
• Institution's IP Address(es)
  Critical information about IP addresses -- read this

We will send you the address of this web form and instructions for filling it out after we verify payment. Your institution will not have access to the full ScienceNOW Online until you complete this second step.
